About

Wildlife Conservation

Olivia Dame

Proactive Environmental Scientist and Paul Smiths college alumni with a strong desire to be everywhere I’m not.  Passionate about the environment, conservation and Sustainability, as well as photography.  i live life with a strong desire to form an alliance between The beauty and undiscovered marine ecosystems and have a particular emphasis on learning to coexist with the wildlife of  earth.  Hoping to offer solid critical thinking, and raise awareness to preserving the beauty of nature. I hope to extend my desire and compassion to my readers as i pursue a journey to further my education and career through research and photography. The purpose of this Page serves as a travel journal and freelance photography page as i continue with my adventures. I am hoping to use my research and experience to create an anthropological lens , visit different places, and research what people and groups are doing about the current status of our planet. Being aware and having a reason and intention behind visiting these beautiful places that I find myself in and using the people I meet as a guide.Gathering all the information from my favorite conservation organizations, and sharing my thoughts and experiences I’ve encountered thus far through my scientific journey. I am dedicated to making a big impact through a small action such as social media, and reaching out to the small town of Lake Placid, NY that i call home, and now Haverhill, MA where I am currently living. Nothing in nature lives for itself, rivers do not drink their own water, trees do not eat their own fruit, the sun does not shine for itself. Living for each other is the rule of nature, so while you’re here Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints, and kill nothing but time.
